CrossFit Teens
CrossFit Teens follows traditional CrossFit programming for teens in their own specialized group where they can enjoy smaller classes with people their own age. Teens will learn foundational movements that apply to other sports they may play throughout the school year and even beyond graduation.

Whit Ables

COACH

Before starting CrossFit in May 2018, Whit had no athletic background and had not even touched a barbell. Now, he dedicates consistent effort to working out and strives to keep improving his CrossFit performance. Nothing makes Whit happier than helping aspiring athletes see that CrossFit can help change their lives in the same way that it changed his. When he is not doing handstand walks or gymnastics, Whit works as a staff member at the University of Central Arkansas where he graduated with his Master of Science in College Student Personnel in 2019.

Ryan Brooks

COACH

Ryan drank the koolaid while stationed at Ft. Benning in 2012, and has been doing CrossFit ever since. He grew up in Wyoming playing football, basketball and running track. Ryan’s wholistic approach to fitness focuses on the the natural balance of spiritual, mental, and physical fitness.

David Campbell

COACH

I started CrossFit in 2012 in Springfield, MO. I remember watching men and women do incredible things and pushing past their limits time and time again. As a man I saw women breaking glass ceilings as it pertains to fitness and it motivated me. I saw the value it added to overall wellness and the functionality it pertained to everyday life. I’ve owned my own CrossFit Affiliate and have been around coaching/training for 10+ years. I absolutely love helping people and seeing them achieve things they never thought they could. I also love watching people go from wanting to look a certain way to instead wanting to pick up heavier weight. I’ve served in the military for 17 years and have deployed twice, once to Guatemala and once to Iraq. I am a Master Fitness Trainer in the military and have helped many Soldiers become physically prepared and better their overall health. I have two amazing boys who keep me very busy l so if I’m not at the gym then I am probably at the baseball fields. I also love to travel, try new things, meet new people, and try new foods!

Sean Engle

COACH

Sean has been doing CrossFit since 2013. He is a teacher in the Exercise and Sport Science department at UCA. He has played a variety of sports and loves how CrossFit can push others out of their comfort zone. He enjoys coaching and helping others get better everyday. Sean has a Bachelor of Science in Education in Kinesiology and Physical Education and a Master of Science in Exercise Science.

Jeff Trimble

COACH

Jeff is the Women’s Soccer coach at Hendrix College. He has been coaching kids of all ages for 25 years and currently also coaches a club soccer team in Little Rock. He grew up playing sports and was a two time All-American goalkeeper in college. He has his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. Jeff is most excited about helping others achieve goals they didn’t think they could reach!

Warren Debusk

COACH

Warren has played baseball, basketball, track and field, football, and soccer.  He enjoys cycling and some 5k runs.  He has competed in Decathlons.  Warren coached Jr High and High School football and track and field for 4 years.  He enjoys teaching others. 

Warren has a Bachelors of Science in Parks and Recreation Administration and Turf Management.

Lydia Coleman

COACH

While Lydia doesn’t have an extensive background in sports, she developed a passion for health and fitness when she tried CrossFit for the first time in 2014. She has finished multiple Tough Mudder races and even competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior in 2015. She studied Dental Hygiene at UAMS and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009.

John Goins

COACH

John started CrossFit in February of 2014 while deployed. Participated in many sports growing up and deployed including football, basketball, and soccer. In the military and has lead many Soldiers in the Army Physical Fitness instruction program to help improve their PT score. He enjoys CrossFit and everything it has to offer; from the community to the athletes, coaches , and competitions. John loves coaching and challenging  athletes to be better than they ever thought they could be.

Kelly Trimble

MANAGER/COACH

Kelly grew up playing sports and played high school basketball. She started doing CrossFit in 2012 and later convinced her husband to join her as well. It has become something the whole family can do. She loves that CrossFit is for any age and athletic background. Her favorite thing is hearing someone say “I can’t do that” and then they try and can actually do it! The confidence that gives people is so rewarding.  Kelly and her husband Jeff have three boys and can usually be found on a soccer field when not at CrossFit.

Dr. Brian Beard & Merissa Beard

OWNER

Drs. Brian and Merissa have been members of CrossFit Conway since 2014. While they have always been passionate about fitness, they fell in love with the community of CrossFit. In 2018, the Beards took ownership of this amazing gym as an additional way to bring health and wellness to Central Arkansas.

When they aren’t at the gym, the Beards can be found at Beard Family Chiropractic, a MaxLiving Health Center, where they have been empowering patients to better health since 2014. CrossFit Conway and Beard Family Chiropractic offer new ways for families in Conway to view and manage their health.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
